Point Patrol is a complete behavior modification program that allows you to set up and manage a points and rewards system for people of all ages. Points can be added for good behavior and subtracted for bad behavior. Rewards can be redeemed after a set number of points are earned. This system is completely customizable for each individual's needs.
Point Patrol has a point reward system with a small footprint to make it easy to track your points and rewards on your mobile device. It uses the same database as the desktop system so you can go back and forth between the two if you choose. For now the mobile site will be free. In the future there may be a nominal charge to use it to help pay for hosting costs.
The desktop application will always be free. For now, for both the desktop and the mobile app, as long as you log in to your Point Patrol at least once a month it will remain active. After one month of inactivity, you will be emailed a notice and have 10 days to log in before your account is cancelled.
Adding points - Points will be added for the current date or the date selected. Select a user that you have already added from the drop down list. Select an action that you have already entered from the drop down list. When an action is selected, the corresponding points are added to (or subtracted from) the selected user's points. For each user, two total are calculated. One total is for all points earned for the current date and the other total is a grand total of all the points the user has earned. If the user changes their mind or selects the wrong action, they can easily remove the action and the points will be subtracted out..
Redeeming rewards - Points will be redeemed for the current date or the date selected. Select a user that you have already added from the drop down list. A list of all the rewards available is displayed along with the corresponding points and a check box to redeem each reward. When a checkbox is selected, the points required will be subtracted from the user's points. If the user does not have enough points, a message will be displayed informing the user of how many more points they need. If the user changes their mind or selects the wrong reward, they can easily remove the reward and the points will be added back.
View points earned and rewards redeemed - For each user, their points earned and rewards redeemed can be viewed for either a selected date or for all dates if the date field is left blank.
Print out a points form - For those without a mobile device, to help track points when you are away from the computer, a form can be printed out with a list of all the possible actions and points. Beside each action is a space where you can place a check mark for each day of the week. The top of the form has a space for the user's name and the date for the week. This feature is not available on the mobile site.

Change the screen colors - The Options screen allows you to change the screen and button colors to your preference. This feature is not available on the mobile site.
Backup and restore data files - I recommend backing up your databases periodically and it's easy to do from the Database menu. From the backup page, select each database to download the database text file. If you ever need to restore you database, from the restore page, browse to each of the downloaded text files and press the restore button to upload the saved text files. Your current database will be overwritten with the uploaded files.
